User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

I browse somewhere in the documentation of api.openoffice.org - now I need to
search a huge page. I press ctrl-f and the search dialog appears above the
status line. I type in the word to search for, but only the first character is
displayed in the input field, and when I open the task manager, I see that
firefox uses 99% CPU.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. load a big page in api.openoffice.org, maybe with several firefox windows
open on this site.
2. Press ctrl-f
3. enter something

Actual Results:
infinite loop after displaying only the first letter input

Expected Results:
search terminates in reasonalble time.

When trying to close firefox, Windows reports that the applictation does not
react, and I chose "terminate immediately", which works.
