View source of source window?

What happens:
The context menu of the source-view window and the Edit menu have "View Source"
enabled. When selected this option just displays another identical source
window.
Expected:
View Source should be disabled from a source window.

shouldn't 'view source' on a source page give you the html for the syntax
highlighted markup? it might be handy to have the html for this available...
