No I don't think so. They are sorting their messages with the newest mail on
top. I have my newest mail at the bottom. Here is an example:

Subject: Date:
Hi there 04/23/2005
Howdy 04/24/2005
Hiya 05/01/2005

Lets say that I only show the first three email subjects in the main window, any
new messages would be placed after hiya (as they arrived after it) and I would
have to scroll down to see them. The program should automatically scroll down
to show them.

I did a search to see if this bug was listed and didn't see one...but I have
been known to look as well as my 3 year old nephew.
I think bug 93856 (which is against the suite) was seeking automatic scrolling
at either end, altho it was originally reported for top-is-newest (descending).
Bug 250870, explicitly for the descending case, claims that the desired behavior
did exist (at least in TB) for top-is-newest but then disappeared at some point.

This dupe, however, is for TB with ascending-by-date sorting.
