In the bookmarks toolbar and in the bookmarks dropdown, one can right click on a
folder and choose "Open in Tabs"

It would be neat if one could set it so that a folder would automatically open
in tabs if one were to click on it.  This options could be set in the folder's
properties dialogue.  

For example, I could make a folder that holds all of my webmail access pages.  I
could then set it so that whenever I clicked on that folder, I would get all of
my webmail pages opened in tabs automatically.
This sounds like extension material
This already works, try middle-clicking on such a folder. Resolve WORKSFORME?
