I think the answer is: It should render properly
This may be a dupe of bug 178991, but it's hard to tell without the page source,
or preferably a minimized testcase based on it.
I agree with Simon. Unless proven otherwise, I say it's a dupe of bug 178991.
I wanted to retest this after the landing of bug 299065, but I can't reach any of the URLs in this report so I'm marking it WORKSFORME. Please reopen and add a testcase if it is still a problem in nightly builds.
