FF more slowly is opened big (3 mb) page, in comparison with other
browsers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
http://forum.mozilla.ru/uploaded/temp.zip. 
In this archive 2 files (first.html and second.html).Size of a file second.html
12Mb. It contains a big but simple table.  
The file first.html contains the reference to the paragraph in a file
second.html which goes after the big table. 
1. Unpack the archive to the local drive
2. In the Firefox open the file named first.html
3. Click the link "Click this"
4. Wait the appearances of a last table row. It is red color.

Actual Results:  
Before last line of the table has appeared, I waited about 2 minutes.
While in other browsers this action is carried out for 20 seconds.
(For example IE - 23 seconds, Opera - 18 seconds.)

Expected Results:  
Faster opening of a file first.html.

The difference for me is also about 2 minutes.

No. The matter not in the fact that in the file table, but in the fact
that this file has large size. There is the more real example, where
there is no table. Here is it: http://shs.km.ru/manual.ru.zip
manual.ru_toc.html as first, manual.ru.html as second.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
