Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050711 Firefox/1.0.5

After installing Firefox 1.0.5 voer the top of 1.0.4 I visited BBC news and
Wired news and neither site is correctly rendering it's CSS styling. Haven't
found anymore at present but bother render fine under M$13 and Firefox 1.0.4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install 1.0.5 over the top of 1.0.4
2.navigate to anywhere in BBC news or Wired

Actual Results:
Notice no CSS styling

Expected Results:
Rendered an acurate CSS styled representation of the page
I do not see any directly wrong on those sites with a clean 1.0.5 install. But
my own site is broken in 1.0.5. It works in all other versions of FF I've tried.
And also it works in IE. And I think it is releated to <div> and float in the
case of my own site. But it can be I have coded wrong too. But FF 1.0.5 is the
only browser not showing it as I want it to.

Try http://jens.yllman.se/

I'm running FF 1.0.5 on w2k.
Actually maybe my thing is diffrent. And should have it's own bug??
All three sites look well on all browsers except for http://jens.yllman.se/
which is only broken in 1.0.5 but looks normal in the latest 1.0+ build:

Don't install 1.05 over the top of 1.04? (Like it says not to in the release
notes). What happens with a new install?

Ah, now if you are a commonal garden user you would click the link on the
firefox homepage which instantly downloads the setup program, this route does
not mention anything about removing previous installations first.

However I had skimmed through the release notes but obviously missed that
section (found it now). Might need to make it a bit clearer either in the setup
or on the download link.

Sorry for wasting peoples time.

Did a clean re-install fix the problem for you though?
Sorry, yes uninstalling the currently installed version and reinstalling worked
perfectly.
