If you got one or more select boxes with a huge amount of entrys (about 8000) on
a page, firefox needs much longer (about 2sec) then internet-explorer to finish
rendering the page. This is not a critical bug but a performance issue, i think.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a page with one or more select boxes with about 8000 entrys at each
2.view the page with firefox
3.view the page with internet-explorer

Actual Results:
You will notice a disadvantage in performance compared to internet-explorer

Expected Results:
Just render it as fast as internet-explorer... if possible
Are you able to provide a testcase?
Also, try updating to 1.0.5, as 1.0.4 is now three months obsolete.
Also, if the problem continues, try a nightly build available at
