User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; SV1) Build Identifier: I updated a Mozilla update on June 13/05 as prompted by a pop-up box on my computer. However when I restarted the system and opened up Mozilla I got a message that sayd "www.google.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again". Someone advised me to untiall the firox 1.0.1 setup file and install the 1.0.4 update but got the same results. Today I've installed 1.0.5 and still can't use firefox. I'm not computer literate so hope I'm giving you the info you need. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.every time I open firefox I get the same message "www.google.com could not be found". 2.uninstalled fireox in C Drive 3.downloaded update from your website Actual Results: can't access any websites from Firefox but can access them in IE Expected Results: Firefox should open with google.com as homepage

This is a support questions and such questions doesn't belong into bugzilla. Please use the mozillazine.org Forums for that. The reason for your problem is a broken Firewall product. The Firefox.exe changed with the Update and your Firewall blocks now this changed .exe but doesn't notify you about that. You have the delete the Firefox entry in your Firewall configuration and add it again. -> invalid
