300935 - Can't paste in bookmark folder in bookmark manager

In attempting to copy and paste non-live bookmarks from an existing non-live
bookmark folder to the bookmark tool tab, I found I could only drag drop move.
Any attempt to copy in one folder and paste in any other (not exclusive to the
Bookmark tool tab) would result in nothing being pasted.

Bookmarks from a folder would happily be pasted in the top/root/bookmarks
folder, but not into any folder under bookmarks.

v annoying.

Unless you mean something different: I can copy any bookmark to any place in any
folder, using either the Bookmarks Manager or the Bookmarks Menu, in Firefox
1.0.5 and 1.0+, even copy the bookmark in 1.0+ and paste it into 1.0.5. The
bookmark has the right title, address, favicon and works.

Perhaps I should elaborate. The Bookmark manager has two panels, the folder 
tree to the left and the contents of a folder to the right.

If I select and copy bookmarks from a folder in the right panel, then select 
another (in this case empty) folder in the left panel (folder tree) and 
attempt to paste the copied bookmarks into the right panel for the selected 
target folder, I notice several things: 
1. A right click on the mouse does not bring up a menu 
2. While the file/paste menu item is available, it does nothing. Nothing is 
pasted.
