User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Been using Firefox since March and am pleased with your product. I am in the business and am perplexed at the update mechanism. You provide the facility to check for updates under the Tools menu. I use it periodically even though the icon in the upper right hand corner does not indicate any. However, I also consult other sites and noticed for the second time that there is a revision. That is, was running version 1.0.3 and saw a download for 1.0.4 on another site. Same thing this time with 1.0.5. How are we supposed to know that there are updates if you do not acknowledge when we inquire? Reproducible: Always Expected Results: You probably don't need this suggestion but if you indicated through the icon on the browser window or even acknowledged when we inquire through the Tools menu, we'd be up to date.
