Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

I am using Firefox 1.04.

I have an Office 2002 word document (.doc), I like to send it from my yahoo
account, when I attach no complaints, as soon as I send it (to copy myself as
well) it gets garbled.

Recipient does not need to use yahoo mail.

Problem seems to be during attachment process, it uploads like a text, instead
of binary, may be yahoo is managing to confuse Firefox.

I tried Opera 8.01 and attachment and detachment was fine.
Also need to be consider is if I zip it, it does work no problem (attach,
detach). So problem is the extention??

Thanks,
Hilmi demir22@yahoo.com

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.login to your yahoo account
2.Compose an e-mail to yourself (same yahoo address)
3.Attach your word file may be resume (I was using Office 2002 with all the
patches applied)
4. Send it. When you receive it, you will se garbled characters, and it thinks
that it is a text file.
5. If you try to open with MS word, it thinks that it is japanese.. I do not
write or speak or understand japanese:-))

Good Luck,
Thanks,

Actual Results:
See above.

Expected Results:
Attachment and detachment should not cause any problems, try zipped file to
attach and detach, no problems. Word document should be the same.
