User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050711 Firefox/1.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050711 Firefox/1.0.5 When I use Firefox to access my local cable Web page and click on any tab, Firefox displays two windows, one upon the other. If I use Internet Explorer to do the same, this does not occur. I have uninstalled Firefox and loaded the latest version, 1.05. The above still occurs. Reproducible: Always I am using a Hewlett Packard Pavilion Model 6638, running Windows 98 SE, with 198 Meg of memory. Small but good system....somewhat old but still running.

I couldn't reproduce this in the latest trunk. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0+ Could you see if this still occurs using a nightly build and clean profile on your computer. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ Tthis is a very strange bug which is probably caused by an extention or bad javascript on weather.com's part.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
