This is a tracking bug for bundling the JEP with Camino. I'll make the other Java bugs dependent on it.

I added the other bugs that the JEP fixes. There are still a few on the Java meta tracker (bug 224615, also on the blocking list) that the JEP doesn't fix, so don't resolve it when resolving this bug.

Steven was concerned at one point that the JEP isn't ready for the mainstream yet. I just checked and there is only one bug left (which seems on the way to being solved). I suppose a JEP 1.0 release might therefore be possible in the same timeframe as the Camino 1.0 / Firefox 1.5 releases? That would be quite elegant...
we're going to land the binary plugin in mozilla/plugins/oji/jep, probably one dir for x86 and another for ppc. For now we're going to land 0.9.3 and can update as Steven comes out with updated bits.
Fixed now.

I recommend that version 0.9.3+a of the Java Embedding Plugin be included with current Camino nightlies. It (mostly) fixes bug 302712 (which is the worst JEP-specific bug that's been reported, and is quite annoying), and seems not to have any side effects.
