When I type Japanese characters by using Kinput2 in Composer and click on Bold, Italic, and Underline button in toolbar,
I will type English characters even though IME status window is shown.

Steps of reproduce
1. Open Composer
2. Turn on IME by Shift + Space
3. Type "あああ"
4. Click on Bold button in tool bar
5. Type "あああ" again

Notice that the second "あああ" will be displayed as "aaa".

Tested 2000030209 Linux build.
This does not happen in 2000022909 Linux build.
This might be related to bug 17419.

Well, what is the difference from 17419? It looks to
me exactly the same problem.

No. This is different bug. After you type Japanese characters in composer and click on bold button, whatever you type
in Japanese will be displayed as English.
Hmm, you cannot type japanese even after clicking
composer window, can you?
Clearing Beta1.

Okay, it is my fault. What I tried to fix for 17419
is including this phenomena, and the proposed patch
for 17419 will fix it. Try out!
