Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open first instance of Firefox 2. Open a second instancen of firefox (CTRL-N or using start menu) 3. Close first instance of Firefox Actual Results: (context) Menus are empty on the second interface. Buttons do not work Expected Results: Working (contect) menus and buttons. I've set this to major: I think this is a highly visible bug for non-tab users.

I've seen this reported before, and it's always been due to a bad extension. Have you tried it in safe mode, or with extensions disabled?

You're right, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Uninstalling Adblock plus did the trick! For all the people seeing this as well: uninstall/disable Adblock. I will inform the adblock devs.

Adblock Plus 0.5.8 is at fault. This has now been fixed, you can download the current developer build from this mozillazine thread. 0.5.9 release and higher should be alright. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=266291
