301096 - Firefox Start is set as homepage even when option is deselected. Cannot import IE homepage during installation.

During installation, the user is presented with an option to "use Firefox Start 
as the home page". Even when Internet Explorer settings are imported and this 
option is deselected, Firefox Start is still set as the home page. This is 
problematic for ISP's that recommend Firefox to customers; generating wasteful 
tech support calls from users who don't know how to set the option manually.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Begin Mozilla Firefox Win32 installation
2. Import settings from Internet Explorer
3. Do not select the "Use Firefox Start as the homepage" option



Actual Results:  
Firefox Start is still set as the homepage, even after the option was 
deselected and Internet Explorer settings were imported.

Expected Results:  
The homepage should have been imported from Internet Explorer along with other 
settings. If the import wizard ignores the home page, then the option should 
have set a blank page when the user deselects the "Use Firefox Start..." option.

See bug 252546. We don't import the IE homepage anymore because it can contain
spyware sites. Probably INVALID.

Proposed Solution

Currently, the Win32 installer only allows one browser to import during setup. 
This should be changed to allow the user to select multiple browsers to be 
simultaneously imported and merged with Firefox settings. A list should be 
created of the homepages from imported browsers which is then presented to the 
user during the setup/import wizard. Firefox Start should be the default 
selection, but users would be able to select one of the others if preferred.
