Default profile unable to launch because it was "already in use". No access to
default profile or prefernces therein. New profile required to access the
browser. All prior preferences inaccessible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch the browser

3.Old preferences and bookmarks gone

Expected Results:
The default profile should always be used unless requested otherwise by the user.
