I ran into this purely by accident in "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2;
en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0+", though someone in #mozillazine
confirmed it also happens in 1.0.5 on MacOS X 10.3.5.

If you turn off the navigation toolbar, or otherwise hide the URLbar (but still
have it placed on some toolbar), you can get the focus into it and trigger it by
pressing Ctrl-T. Firstly this seemed wrong, but it could be kinda useful,
however, it is only wide enough to show "http://...".

My personal ideal solution is that this behaviour of allowing the focus to move
to it, and it opening when hidden, stays, but the width be fixed to be the
entire width of the window or, if worst comes to worst, at least the same width
as the hidden URLbar element.
I was sure that this was already filed, but I can't find anything.
