User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/412.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/412.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050712 Firefox/1.0+ When clicking on a folder in the bookmarks bar, the dropdown menu flashes white before appearing. This inconsistent with other menus in OS X. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: The menu should be fully drawn before appearing.
Depends on: 289973
Bug 289973 probably won't fix this.

I'm still getting this bug with: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a3pre) Gecko/20070307 Minefield/3.0a3pre

With Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010804 Minefield/3.0b3pre, The bug is really hard to see, I have to slow the computer to be able to see a real short - quite undiscernable- flash.
is this still visible for anyone on current trunk/branch?
This might be the same as bug 562138, which has a clear testcase.
Only opaque popup windows are subject to this flashing. Bug 391984 made them transparent, so this bug no longer exists for menus.
