Following is copied from about:config Page:
DeerPark with this plugin shows the described problem:
Adobe Acrobat
File name: nppdf32.dll
Adobe Acrobat Plug-In Version 5.00 for Netscape
MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/pdf Acrobat pdf Yes
DeerPark with this plugin doesn't show the described problem:
Adobe Acrobat

Sry for that. Bug 300618 seems to be another problem. But very similar. 1. I opened 2 Tabs with normal content like html. 2. then i openend a new Tab with an pdf Document(works also local). 3. then i typed a new URL(normal HTML Document) into the URL field and pressed enter. 4. the Page opend in the second Tab not in the third Tab. This is a little bit similiar to Bug 300618. Unfortunately this isn't reproducible allways.
Summary: Closing a Tab failed after opening a pdf → Closing a Tab failed after opening a pdf

WFM. I can't reproduce both cases in 1.0+ on a new profile. Maybe an extension is causing this? Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005071808

I use no Extension on this maschine. Are you using Adobe Acrobat Plug-In Version 5.00?(on winXP) But i will try a complete new Profile, during the next test.

Today i can't reproduce the problem on the Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Firefox/1.0+ build. And this bug only occurs with the default profile(created with 1.0.X), sorry for testing this bug only with one profile.
