What do you mean by "in encryped form"? What value does the "Show Passwords"
function give if the passwords it shows are encrypted?

I dont wantt them to see... so either they should not come out our they should
be in changed form. In the way linux read its passwrd and stores them
Alternatively a "view save password" password could be implemented.

I'd like to not have to put in a master password each session but I'd like to keep my passwords safe from someone viewing them and taking them away. A password request at the time of clicking "view save password" would solve this problem for me.

Do I need to start a new bug? Or is this already being considered?

I will appreciate it most if this can be done, even as an extension.... Just ask the Master Password at the time of "view saved Password"
I don't see any value in showing logins with encrypted information. If the master password is protecting them, not having the master password probably just shouldn't display anything.

This other issue noted, about having to click cancel multiple times, it already covered by other bugs and should be addressed in Firefox 3 Alpha 6.
