301533 - Can not enter Chinese in the fill in blanks

I'm testing the seamonkey Gecko/20050717 SeaMonkey/1.0a and found that I can not
type in Chinese characters on certain fill in blanks on certain websites. Some
of the fields are OK, some just won't work.

Also, I found that when I encountered such a field, I can paste the desire text
into by using the menu Edit/Paste, but not by cmd-X key combination. Same
situation for the Copy, Cut and Delete. The menu item will work, but not the
cmd-key combination.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the seamonkey
2. go to some websites which have fill in field
3. Try to type in Chinese characters

Actual Results:  
Can not input Chinese character into the fillin field.

Expected Results:  
This is a serious problem and shall be fixed.

SeaMonkey v1.0.x is not supported anymore.
