FTP download:
on some side the file size is not reorted correctly in the download manager;
the status bar (which indicates the file download progress) moves very fast.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download a file from a ftp side
2. open download manager
3. the file size is not displayed
4. status bar moves quickly
Actual Results:  
status bar moves quickly
file size not displayed

Expected Results:  
display file size correctly
status bar should not move

I have quite the same thing, it was moving very fast, since I got the new
version (1.0.6) it is moving till it is half-way and then it will stop.

Something similar is reproducible in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US;
rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050922 Fedora/1.0.7-1.1.fc3 Firefox/1.0.7.
Downloading a huge file from ftp server:
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/10.0/iso/SUSE-10.0-EvalDVD-i386-GM.iso
The status bar is not filled in at all.
All the activities are displayed with a minus in front; for example 
"downloads" window displays "-81% of 1 file" on the title bar and 
"-1710098KB of 2097.2MB at -196KB/sec 0-5:0-23:0-11 remain" under the status bar.
A "ls -l" in terminal window shows
2561047720 Oct  7 22:45 SUSE-10.0-EvalDVD-i386-GM.iso.part
