Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050519 Netscape/8.0.1

When starting Firefox 1.06 I get this message once or twice, and have to click
OK to clear it before Firefox loads:
The procedure entry point ??1nsCString@@UAE@XZ could not be located in the
dynamic link library xpcom.dll

I uninstalled Firefox 1.04 before installing ver. 1.06. This happens every time
since the new install

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Double click the Firefox icon on the desktop
2.
3.

Actual Results:
I get one or two screens that say:
The procedure entry point ??1nsCString@@UAE@XZ could not be located in the
dynamic link library xpcom.dll

Expected Results:
Simply load the browser and display my home page (www.lustie.com) as did all
earlier versions of Firefox
Do a clean (un)install and try again in safe-mode. Does that work? What for
plugins and extensions do you use?
