301630 - runs very slow and sometimes pauses from 10-30 secs

As soon as I start firefox, receiveng or sending files runs form very slow to 
actual long pauses. i never get any errodr messages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start firefox
2. go to any site
3.

Actual Results:  
fire fox slows to a crawl or pauses, if i start windows explorer, win ie will 
run fine in the background or foreground.

Expected Results:  
send or receive pages at a fast rate.
