User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Sort by date, descending and grouped by sort are selected. More than one new message in is the today folder, deleting the last item in list (earliest mail) causes the "today" label to change to "old mail" If old mail group already exists it will be duplicated and the remaining today messages are no longer visible. Clicking on another folder and returning to the inbox restores the messages and the proper labeling. Messages must be new. Marking an older message as unread will not cause this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure sort by date, descending and group by sort are selected. 2. Have more than one new email in the today group. 3. Delete the oldest email, which will be the lowest in the list Actual Results: The "today" label changes to "old mail" If "old mail" already exists, the group is either duplicated or combined. Either way, the remaining "today" mail is hidden. Expected Results: "today" should still be "today" and the messages should not be hidden. To reproduce the message must be NEW, not just marked as unread.

have you tried a recent trunk build, or a 1.1a2 build? ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/1.1a2

WFM version 3 alpha 1 (20060418) if still a problem, please reopen with comments based on v1.5 or trunk.
