User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050722 SeaMonkey/1.0a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050722 SeaMonkey/1.0a In new 2005072205, i tried to reply a mail, and i got this message : "an error occurred while creating a message compose window. please try again." It's not depending on the account, as it occurs with all my email accounts (pop3/imap4). Mails are correctly received, and can be read without any problem. MailNews was working correctly with 20050714's build. This is a regression. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open MailNews 2. Click "reply" after selecting a mail Actual Results: The error message comes. Expected Results: Having a window to reply the email :)
wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050723 SeaMonkey/1.0a Does the JS console show errors? didn't you see Bug 301565 Bottom part of suite display gray with script showing. on all Windows ?
No, i haven't seen any red lines as in Bug 301565
You can get this if there is some serious error when it's trying to create the compose window, usually somehow related to your account preferences. To make progress on this bug, you'll need to identify what about your profile is causing this. ==> compose

I'm not sure it's due to my profile, as I've just tried to create a new profile, and get the same error.
do you have any extensions installed?
Yes, I have Chatzilla (0.9.68.5), AdBlock (0.5d2 nightly build 39), FlashGot and Forecastfox.
It seems solved : I've deleted SeaMonkey directory, then unzipped a nightly from 24th of july, reinstalled all my extensions, and it worked.
