Steps to Reproduce:
1. start mozilla browser or get mail

Actual Results:  
message at bottom of screen says "resolving host mozill.org...  and the hour 
glass shows near the pointer

Expected Results:  
go to the web page

The problem is related to norton firewall.
I disabled norton firewall and mozilla worked.
So, then I enabled windows firewall and mozilla worked.
So finally, I changed the norton personal fiirewall setting from medium to low
and mozilla worked. I turned off windows firewall.
