Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050720 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050720 Firefox/1.0+

If you move the cursor manually using the keyboard cursor-control keys, such
that it causes the window contents to scroll, it leaves a ghost cursor behind,
leaving the message looking like a real mess.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.compose a message
2.fill window with text and then add some more
3.use the cursor keys to move the cursor to text that is off the bottom of the
screen

Actual Results:
cursor leaves a shadow/ghost of itself

Expected Results:
no shadow/ghost

Quite possibly, though I think my observation about it only happening when the
window scrolls is significant.
I can replicate this with the 27/7 Mozilla candidate (1.7.11) and Thunderbird 1.0.6. However the problem
seems to have disappeared on the nightly trunk of Thunderbird (27/7)
