User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

When I click on Critical Updates Icon in upper right of screen, it brings me to
the update window, window searches for updates, then a blank screen appears
telling me updates are avail, but does not show any updates in the window. I
click on the Install Now button which is highlighted and system goes into loop.
Nothing is installed, and red crit alerts icon remains in upper right of screen.
Tried rebooting system, icon still appears when you open firefox. Using 1.0.6

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click up Crit Item icon
2. Sys Looks for new updates
3. Click on install now - goes into loop and installs nothing.
4. Icon remains............
Actual Results:
Nothing happens, have to end session.

Expected Results:
Should have downloaded updates and red critial alerts icon should disappear
Reporter, is this still an issue ? With critical update do you mean Windows Update or Firefox Software Update System ?
Whiteboard: CLOSEME - 06/13
