i don't generally start a message on the offensive, but in this case, **** you
guys. if your installer detects a previously installed version, it prompts you
to remove it before re-installing (upgrading). in my case my previous version
was installed in /usr/local/bin, and when i said yes to the prompt, instead of
simply deleting the firefox binary from that dir, it rmed my entire
/usr/local/bin/directory. you ****.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install firefox to a directory you care about
2.upgrade or reinstall
3.say yes to remove old version and cry when it takes EVERYTHING out with it

Actual Results:
i **** cried because i lost everything in /usr/local/bin (which is where a
lot of my binaries are.)

Expected Results:
not deleted my ****

...but it's not a dataloss bug...
