User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 i don't generally start a message on the offensive, but in this case, **** you guys. if your installer detects a previously installed version, it prompts you to remove it before re-installing (upgrading). in my case my previous version was installed in /usr/local/bin, and when i said yes to the prompt, instead of simply deleting the firefox binary from that dir, it rmed my entire /usr/local/bin/directory. you ****. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install firefox to a directory you care about 2.upgrade or reinstall 3.say yes to remove old version and cry when it takes EVERYTHING out with it Actual Results: i **** cried because i lost everything in /usr/local/bin (which is where a lot of my binaries are.) Expected Results: not deleted my **** n/a
