RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 34973

Currently the nntp filtering capabilities of Thunderbird are restricted to
creating a filter for either a single newsgroup or a single nntp server. There
is no option to create a global filter that will cover *all* newsgroups on *all*
nntp servers.

I subscribe to 80+ groups on 7 nntp servers. When someone is spamming
everything it is a pain in the posterior to have to create the exactly the same
 filter for each server.

I envision a simple "global" option that can be selected from both "Create
filter from message" and Tools|Message Filters|New.

Reproducible: Always
