I was trying to change the properties of a single recurring birthday event. The WebDAV server is using Digest authentication. I tried loading it into calendar today using the 2005-07-25-07-trunk release on my Debian etch box and got a core dump. Is this reproducable at all?
CC'ing the remote calendar-wiz, but I don't think Bug 285018 made it in to this
nightly, so I'm not quite sure what it might be.

Please don't post entire stacks in comments. They make the bug hard to read and fix. Can you try to hand-edit the file, to see if it is a special event that causes the crash? Or can you make the file publically available?

Sorry about the stacktraces, I'll use an attachment next time. I'm going to attach a file that I get the core dump with. When I try to change the date of the birthday from April 2nd to April 3rd, it doesn't seem to take the change, and the second time I try to change it, it crashes.

CONFIRMED. I had the same problem with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0;
en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050928 Mozilla Sunbird/0.2+ on Windows 2000 today.
Steps to Reproduce (with new profile):
1. Create remote calendar to webcal://ical.mac.com/macklausi/GermanSpecials.ics
2. Reload remote calendar
3. Open Edit Dialog for any event (e.g. from 03-Oct-2005)
4. Do anything, Press OK to close Edit Dialog
Actual Results:
After some seconds Sunbird crashes. A DrWatson log file is created. Output in
console:

symbols are stripped making them useless). and if you made the build yourself,
just post a stack trace.

Update with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/ 20051020 Mozilla Sunbird/0.2+: Now I get the same error message as described in bug 312883 when following my steps from comment #6. At least at the first time. After a restart of Sunbird these steps crash Sunbird as described.

I got two different callstacks when retrying today. Only the last four frames are identical, both crashed in nsScriptSecurityManager::GetScriptPrincipal. So it seems that is not the same crash as described by the original reporter. Have not seen this for some time, maybe it was fixed with Bug 314334 mentioned in Comment #10.
