Are you using anything in user.js that would be overwriting this preference in prefs.js each time you restart?

I'd like to confirm that this behavior is happening. Standard 1.0.6 installation, plus the following extensions: DOM inspector, Adblock, ImageZoom, Tabbrowser Prefs, miniT Sorry I don't know enough to try to debug this further, but I'd be willing to try any suggestions.
If you are using the google suggest extension (at least for Fx-1.5) then for some reason it will always reenable the 'save information I enter in forms...' field. I don't see why they need it apart from snooping, but either way isn't this still a security loophole? A user's preferences shouldn't be allowed to be changed silently by any extension. Give it [the extension] the ability to inform the user that it won't work without different preferences by all means, but don't do it unknown to the user. What's the point of a secure browser if addons can so easily breach that? NB. I realise this isn't that serious a bug, but it has obvious potential to be.
