Thunderbird by default is setup to grey out signatures. I have discovered it is
possible to subliminally program people by modifying my signature. Because by
default they are greyed out people don't pay much attention to them. I have
admittedly only had limited success so far - free beer - however I feel a
sustained campaign with the right subject could have excellent results.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find someone who you communicate with frequently.
2. Rewrite bits of your signature to implant suggestions. (Important to keep it
roughly the same shape).
3.

Actual Results:
Target bought me beer.

Expected Results:
I would reconsider greying out signatures by default.

Nope. Think I covered it.
Hope you see the funny side :) (Apologies if you feel I have waster your time,
it's meant in the best possible spirit).

Who sincerely apologises for anyones time he wasted here. A mix of tiredness and
stupidity. Won't happen again. *Hangs head in shame*

(Goes back to using Thunderbird & Firefox grateful for everyone who puts time
and effort into making both infinitely the best available at what they do.
Ok found a proper bug 302259. Ok its just a typo but hopefully it goes some way
towards redressing the scales.

Has anybody actually verified that this subliminal programmining does not work
(even if it is more of a feature than a bug)? I would like to see a test case :)
