Details

Hidden trees are good enough for 1.5/1.8, but in the long run we want something that actually makes sense and doesn't incur a DOM creation performance hit. A couple global variables in help.js could probably do the trick, although it's worth considering options as this isn't time-critical. I intend to fix this (hopefully long) before 1.9a1.
