User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Imagine a Cinema ticket-shop sending you electronic tickets. Because you ordered two tickets, they send you two email, each with an attachment (.JPG) containing a ticket you should print to get access. These two emails are different and the attachments are different (although only slightly). Firefox is set as the default browser, clicking on the attachment in the first email has Firefox show the image. Open the second email, clcik attachment and Firefox does show the *first* one, not the second image... This is reproducable in both 1.0.6 and 1.0.4 versions. I checked what Outlook did: Outlook store a copy of the image in the users temporary internet directory, it does this twice with exactly the same filename. The first file show a time-stamp: 18:12:11, the second show 18:12:51, size are also different: 48,092 vs. 48,126 bytes. Firefox should reload for two reasons, but doesn't do this. When I do hit the Reload button, it does show the second image. When I then clcik on the first image again, the second stays up. Wrong again. If needed, I kept the two emails, I can sent these over for testing purposes. Regards, Wim van Dommelen. P.S. I really like Firefox! Keep up! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on the attachments.... 2. 3. Actual Results: See elaborate description. Expected Results: Reload the image because both date/time and size of the images are different. I installed Firefox 1.0.6 from scratch with all defaults to check this. It is consistent and not depending on themes i.m.h.o.

(In reply to comment #1) > How do you open the messages with Firefox? Local from .eml file or remote per > webmail? I've set Firefox as the default browser for .htm, .html, etc. but also for .jpg files. I run the regular Outlook 2003 client on W2k and from the window showing this email I just double-click on the attachment. So nothing special i.m.h.o. Regards, Wim.
