Open EM notice: DomI , Talkback and Reporter have the generic puzzlepiece icon. It would look better to show a difference between extensions w/o icons (using the puzzlepiece) and the official stuff.

Bug 296861 is a subset of this (DomI) and should be duped to this one if one icon is used for all the official extensions. The mozilla logo (red T-rex) is a possible solution.

In thinking on this I believe it would be cleaner and simpler from a code perspective to just have the app provided extensions supply their own icon and not add another case in the EM code to do this. If it is done as I suggest then this should be requested of the individual extensions or it could possibly be done with some build fu and an icon would need to be created in any event.

DOMi and Talkback should just have an icon packaged and defined in their install.rdf's. If it is decided that this is going to be fixed and an icon is provided I can help out with finishing this up. What ever the case, there is no work to be done on the Extension Manager for this bug. Changing the component to General - this could as easily be separate bugs for DOMi and Talkback though - and cc'ing kevin to see if he wants to take this on.

The only "extensions" that we have installed by default now are system add-ons which don't show up in add-ons manager and have a separate section in about:support.
Hence, I think we're all good here now.
