302414 - Unable to install update to Firefox 1.0

Everytime I try to run the installer, it thinks I'm trying to install Netscape
7.1.  As a result, I have been stuck at Firefox 1.0 without being to update.  In
fact, I wan't able to install Firefox 1.0 except for the fact that I was able to
download and run a zip version of the program.  However, my understanding is
that the zip version is no longer made available.  I have deleted all files and
folders related to Netscape but still the Firefox installer thinks I'm trying to
install Netscape 7.1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download latest version of Firefox
2. Run file
3. Installer asks if want to install Netscape 7.1
4. Stuck!!!!!

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens, just unable to update.

Expected Results:  
Update from previous version to latest.

Reporter: To be able to install the update try this:
To end the problem, remove the folder ns_temp and all of its contents from the 
folder "C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Local Settings\Temp", and run the 
firefox installer again.
