Hi,
We need to remove the spain mirror from the mirrors list.
http://sunsite.rediris.es/pub/mozilla.org/ gives me 404.
It looks like they are not mirroring Mozilla anymore.
They are now a linux kernel mirror only.
So the spain mirror needs to be removed from http://www.mozilla.org/mirrors.html
ftp://sunsite.rediris.es/pub/mozilla.org/ gives me a 550 error.
Summary: Need to remove the spain mirror. → Need to remove spain mirror.

Reference time from stage.mozilla.org: Wed Jul 27 23:55:00 PDT 2005
*zeppo.rediris.es 404 Not Found
They've been repeatedly getting pulled out of the rotation already for a couple
months now because they've been consistantly a few hours behind in mirroring.
The 404 thing is new, though.
Time to get them off the mirrors page? Or just a glitch?
Hi,
They are now just being a linux kearnel mirror now.
I think that it is time to get them off the list.
And look at http://sunsite.rediris.es/pub/ see what is there.

No kidding, you said that already, and I already posted output from the
monitoring script saying so. You don't need to spam us more.
Hi,
I have found it.
ftp://sunsite.rediris.es/sites/ftp.mozilla.org/
It looks like it is just ftp: now.
So the link needs to be changed.

Well, I think that the problem with RedIRIS mirror is now solved. We have just
migrated our FTP server (it was a quite complex migration because there were
several services involved) and some paths were missed. We are sorry about
this service misoperation; please, check if everything with RedIRIS mirror is
OK and report any problem to ftp@rediris.es, RedIRIS main ftpmaster (Jose
Manuel Macias) is now on hollidays and has no access to Internet.
I've read this thread and there are some comments about RedIRIS mirror that
must be replied; someone said that our mirror has been out of rotation because
we were syncronized several hours behind. This is a partially true assert. We
were using stage.mozilla.org with no problem, mirroring every 10 minutes until
we were suggested to change our mirror server to another one, and here problems
began. This address made round robin and we were mirroring from several
different servers, some of them not syncronized, thus it was a bit difficult to
have our mirror correctly updated, even when mirror were made every 10 minutes.
We had to use a different master mirror to have all contents up to date. It is
not clear for us where we should mirror from, I think Jose made this question
in the past.
Don't hesitate to contact us (ftp@rediris.es), or personally with me
(david.barrero@rediris.es) if you find any problem with our mirror or need any
further aclaration.

Cool, thanks, David!
ftp-rsync.mozilla.org is currently pointing at two IP addresses, which are
servers that are identically cloned from each other at the same location
(TDS.net), so that should be safe now. The original problems were because it
was pointed at servers in different places that didn't rsync at the same time,
and had timestamp differences. If you have I2 access, you should use
rsync.osuosl.org to rsync via I2. rsync.osuosl.org is a safe bet even if you
don't have I2 access, so pick whichever of those two seems to work best for you.
Thanks again!
The monitoring script says you're caught up right now, so I'll add you back into
the DNS round robin.

Thanks, Dave, for adding us to the round robin and for your suggestion. We have
just changed the server where we mirror from to rsync.osuosl.org and it seems
to work great :), however, if anyone locate any problem, please, report it.
