302564 - I updated to 1.0.6 today, rebooted. Now it will not open any URL.

I enter the URL address into the Address line. Mozilla flashes the address and 
then says 'Done'. It does not open the address. I have tried several and all 
react this way.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla
2. Enter a URL Address and hit 'enter'
3.

Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
Opened the web page at the requested URL

MS Explorer works fine. That is how I am able to file this bug report.

Your firewall is probably blocking firefox from accessing the internet.

Disagree - this is a bug!!!!

Went back to release 1.0.4 and it works fine. Have been using since release
1.0.1 and updating regularly without problems. Downloaded complete 1.0.6,
stripped the updated version off my machine, rebooted to clear any caches,
installed the compete 1.0.6 and had same problems. Stripped 1.0.6 off again and
loaded 1.0.4 which works fine.

Firewall is McAfee, no updates had been installed from them during or at the
time of this failure occuring.

Entered web address flashes in the lower left corner of the screen and then goes
to Done. URL's do not load.

Did you actually read the comment? It's your firewall causing the problem,
reconfigure it to allow FF 1.0.6 to access the internet.

Confirmed this version change had not been detected by McAfee Firewall and was
being blocked.
Added to permitted sites on McAfee Firewall and can now connect without problem.
Many thanks for prompt help.
