User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Mozilla automatically launches itself repeatedly about every 5 mins with a new Mozilla window, displaying a Google search page listing several sites beginning with www.mozilla.org. In the Address window is "keyword:%1" and in the Google search window is "%1" I searched through the Preferences but cant find anything related to it. It started after I installed Mozilla 1.7.8 over 1.7.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Note on "Reproducibilty": it does this of its own accord even when the pc is idle & when there are no apps (including Mozilla) open, as well as when there are apps open. 2. 3. Actual Results: Close each Mozilla window but it keeps on re-launching. The whole suite works as per normal - mail client & browser - even when the re-launching takes place.
I've since discovered that there's a malware/spyware causing this. I deleted Mozilla & now IE opens up automatically. I've used every possible spyware & anti-trojan program plus Norton & NOD32 but to no avail. What I've noticed is that "rundll32" always appears in the Task List. After I've "ended" it, sometime later IE opens up again & the file is in the list again. No matter how many times I end it's task, IE opens up & the file is there again. Annoying!
