Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

I use google to search for something and click on one of the result links. A new
window pops up, but the URL of the page is not shown in address bar *until* the
site is connected. In this way, if FF cannot connect to the site tempoarily
(e.g., due to network conjestion), I would lose the URL and have to go back to
the search page; and most of times, I have already closed the search page or
nagivated to other pages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search for something using google.
2. Open a link that has a slow web site (if possible choose one that is very
hard to connect).

Actual Results:
The URL of the new window is not shown until the site is connected. If the site
cannot be connected, I have a blank window.

Expected Results:
Show the URL immediately after the new window is opened.
