Several files, such as privacy.xul, are missing id attributes in various
elements, like <tabpanel>, <hbox>, etc. I think a fix for this is something
required so that any extensions created to target this, as well as other pref
files, can do so properly (unless I'm missing something here). If a fix for this
is something that would be accepted, I'd be glad to take care of this myself.

Are some examples.

is this still an issue or can you produce a path ?
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

"Some elements don't have an id" is obviously still a problem. It's not likely we're willing to fix it in the generic case though (there's another bug with some discussion about this), so not reopening, since the original reporter apparently lost interest in this bug.
