Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.08 (Macintosh; U; PPC, Nav) BuildID: 14 When I first launch Mozilla, it asks me to create a profile. But it won't create one. When I click "Finish" it ignores me. When I try to change the default directory, it crashes with a Type 1 error. (Upping the RAM to 25Mb did not help this latter symptom.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch M14 on a Mac with no existing profile. 2. Try to create a profile. Actual Results: The profile manager just sits there; you cannot proceed other than to "Cancel", rendering Mozilla unusable. Expected Results: Created the profile and then launched into the browser.

Quoting from bug 27573, "Crash selecting profile folder in profile manager", FIXED: > --- Additional Comments From jelwell@singleclick.com 2000-03-01 14:48 --- > this didn't make it into M14... but is working on M15 builds. > tested on WINNT M14 release 2000022820 and M15 build 2000022908. The workaround in M14 is to accept the default folder for the profile. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 27573 ***
