just installed ff 1.0.6 on win 2000 cannot open anything in new windows
(including  links within firefox eg "get more extensions"). have tried
unistalling all extensions related to tab browsing, rebooting system. nothing
helps. when i shut down ffox the ffox process is still live in the task manager
even though the aplication has aparently shut down.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install fox 1.0.6
2.run it!
3.

Actual Results:  
no new windows

Expected Results:  
should be able to open other windows

Does this occur if you start firefox in safe mode?

No - I can open new windows in safe mode.
Does tht mean I have a prob with an extension?

Yes it is an extension problem, you will have to work through them one by one
disabling them to find the problem one.

Marking Invalid as this is an extension problem.
