The used URL is: http://www.nos.nl/export/nosnieuws-rss.xml , while the good (new) URL is: http://www.nos.nl/nos/rss/nieuws.xml Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the Dutch version of Firefox 1.0.6 2. Run the Dutch version of Firefox 1.0.6 3. Actual Results: The default RSS feed displays old news, from the RSS feed http://www.nos.nl/export/nosnieuws-rss.xml Expected Results: It should have displayed news from http://www.nos.nl/nos/rss/nieuws.xml

So, change the url of the bookmark. I fail to see what this has to do with Firefox.
It's a localization bug (wherever they are supposed to go now) - the nl-NL Aviary branch l10n of the default bookmarks includes that feed.

The L10n teams are not allowed to change something in the 1.0.x versions. This is fixed in the trunk builds (witch become Fx 1.5)
