I'm not impressed by the software at all. Too bad as NetScapes constant "improvements" are wrecking it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Mozilla 2. 3. Actual Results: It crashed Expected Results: worked

"Netscape" doesn't really exist, save for a few folks at the old CompuServe office in Columbus, Ohio who put branding and links on what Mercurial Communications develops for them. What version of Mozilla Suite are you using? Have you grabbed the latest build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.7.11/?

From what I see here, you are using Netscape 7.2. - Which version of Mozilla did you install, 1.7.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.11, 1.8b1 or a current nightly? - Netscape and Mozilla will use the same profile, if not called using profile manager. Did you create a second profile in Netscape before installing Mozilla? - did you call mozilla.exe -ProfileManager and create a new profile for Mozilla firsttime, and later on call mozilla.exe -ProfileManager to select the correct profile? Which package did you install, a slim netinstaller, about 200 kb downloading the rest, the about 11 Mb sized full installer or the zip package? Did you use a fresh directory, or just install ontop good old Netscape7.2? Looking into http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/ Mozilla 1.7.8 is the youngest, http://www.mozilla.org/ and http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/ are offering Mozilla 1.7.10, http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.7.11/ gives Mozilla 1.7.11. The latest and last trunk version of Mozilla is found here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-trunk/ Further development will be seen here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/latest-trunk/
