When installing Firefox on this computer, running Windows XP Home SP2, Firefox 
fails to complete the install process. The installer gets about 70% of the way 
through the process (based on the progress bar) and then a window pops up 
saying that an 'Error occurred during installation - Firefox Browser: 5'.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the exe from mozilla.org
2. Run the installer

Actual Results:  
As described above

Expected Results:  
Firefox should have been installed and be ready for use.

Maybe your downloaded file is defect, re-download it, and before installing,
delete the target directory.

This is not the first time I have downloaded the installer and attempted to 
install it. I have tried to install Firefox on this machine several times 
beginning with 0.9, but I have never been able to do so -- the error has 
always been the same.

Could you try this build:
ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk
(this is the alpha of what will become firefox 1.5)

If the installer wont install, does the zip packaged version run correctly?
